Neutral Bay House Two
A reimagined heritage home, seamlessly balancing its original character with a refined contemporary sensibility with a new kitchen & dining, formal lounge and dining, kids study & living and master bedroom detailing.
Scope of works: Partial Interior Design Service & Furniture & Styling Procurement
The Brief
Design a kitchen with generous storage that feels sympathetic to the home’s original architecture, while creating something unique and impactful.
Improve the functionality of key family zones throughout the home while enhancing natural light and flow
How this was delivered
The entry foyer was opened with an additional archway, creating purposeful symmetry that honours the home’s architecture while allowing natural light to filter through. Windows and doors were also upgraded to maximise light and improve the overall aesthetic
A rich green palette defines the formal zones, creating a space suited to entertaining, while the children’s zone was relocated upstairs to fully utilise the home’s rooms.
Carefully planned cabinetry maximises every inch of storage, incorporating concealed televisions, integrated features, a walk-in pantry and a discreet mudroom within the kitchen. The space is anchored by a striking quartzite island, adding depth and quiet drama.
