A bungalow-style period home given a major extension and second storey addition, delivered as a full interior design service that transforms it into a spacious, functional family home while honouring its original character. Thoughtful internal planning created a more functional layout, incorporating a kitchen, butler's pantry, laundry, mudroom, bathroom, bedrooms and wardrobes tailored to modern family living. Muted sage green tones, inspired by the surrounding garden and the clients' preferred palette, bring a calm, contemporary aesthetic. Ornate ceilings were retained where possible, with custom joinery carefully designed to complement the home's traditional features while providing generous storage.
