Lindfield House

This bungalow-style period home underwent a major extension and the addition of a second storey, transforming it into a spacious and functional family home while honouring its original character.

Scope of works:‍ ‍Full Interior Design Service

The Brief

  • Reconfigure the home through a significant extension and new spatial planning, incorporating a kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry, mudroom, bathroom, bedrooms and wardrobes.

  • Maintain the period charm of the bungalow while introducing a fresh, contemporary palette inspired by the surrounding garden.

How this was delivered

  • A second storey addition and thoughtful internal planning created a more functional layout tailored to modern family living.

  • Muted sage green tones, inspired by the garden and the clients’ preferred palette, were introduced to create a calm, contemporary aesthetic.

  • Ornate ceilings were retained where possible, with custom joinery carefully designed to complement the home’s traditional features while providing generous storage.
